University Social Responsibility and University Outreach: Service-Learning for the Common Good (2nd Course)
The University of Salvador (USAL) has opened registration for the second edition of the course “University Social Responsibility and University Outreach: Service-Learning for the Common Good” organized by the University’s Office of University Social Responsibility (RSU) and Secretariat of University Extension (SE). Aimed at USAL faculty and academics, the course focuses on strengthening service-learning methodologies to design and implement extension projects addressing local and regional challenges. It seeks to provide tools for project planning, encourage active participation from students and institutional actors, and foster sustainable social impact through service-learning. This course supports sustainability by equipping educators to design community-focused projects that promote social impact and align with the SDGs, especially quality education (SDG 4), reduced inequalities (SDG 10), and sustainable communities (SDG 11). The virtual course starts today, September 16.
