World University of Bangladesh (WUB), established in 2003, is a private, non-profit institution committed to “utilitarian education for economic emancipation” and guided by its mission to enable students to flourish academically, personally, and socially through quality, up-to-date programs at affordable cost. Its faculties include the World School of Business; Arts & Humanities (English, Law, Media & Journalism, Education); Science & Engineering (Computer, Civil, Electrical & Electronic, Mechatronics, Textile, Architecture, Pharmacy, Biomedical & Public Health); and Tourism & Hospitality. With over 5,000 students and more than 200 academic staff, WUB’s research strengths lie in applied and professional fields, public health, engineering innovation, and business practice. The university offers modern labs and classrooms, library and online resources, student amenities, and has international academic partnerships and credit-transfer arrangements.
