Key Insights on Education for Planetary Futures
Key Insights on Education for Planetary Futures brings diverse perspectives into relationship to make emerging shifts in education visible under changing planetary conditions. The insights invite educators, policymakers, researchers, and communities to consider what these shifts ask of education now—and what possibilities they may open for planetary futures.
Key Insights emerged through an open global survey and successive rounds of dialogue, interpretation, writing, and review across regions, disciplines, and knowledge traditions. These insights are provisional by design, and each revision dialogue offers a collective reading of what is shifting, what is becoming possible, and what we may not yet be seeing.
Key Insights is a joint initiative of Arizona State University and the UNESCO-MOST BRIDGES Coalition. At ASU, it is housed within the Education for Planetary Futures Collaborative—one of the Learning Futures Collaboratives at Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation—and the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory.
