Awareness Program on Electricity Saving at WUB

The World University of Bangladesh (WUB) held a seminar titled “Awareness Programs on Electricity Saving” on 28 August 2025 to promote energy efficiency and support a sustainable campus. Led by senior administrators and faculty, the event highlighted strategies such as LED lighting, motion-sensor systems, efficient AC use, time-based controls, and awareness campaigns, with a goal of reducing daily electricity use by 10%. Attended by over 200 students, faculty, and Green Committee members, it encouraged behavioral change and student-led initiatives, underscoring WUB’s commitment to sustainability and a greener academic environment.
