Center for Sustainability Solutions
The awareness of limited resources availability, environmental problems and pollution as well as the increasing demand for products, energy and materials are calling for a new paradigm in knowledge sharing and generation in higher education institutions, Since the United Nations Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment in 1972 there has been growing international interest in the role of education in fostering a sustainable future and universities are now under increasing pressure to engage with and respond to climate change and other sustainable development issues.
The Center has currently four projects:
