Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design

Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design was founded on April 17, 1930 by the order of the High Council of National Economy № 1240 as the Institute of Leather Industry. 

Kyiv National University of Technologies and Design (KNUTD) is a multidisciplinary educational, scientific and innovative complex with a well-developed infrastructure and modern material and technical base, which provides multi-level training of qualified specialists in various specialties. The university is a leader in training specialists in light and chemical industries, fashion industry, business, artistic and technical modelling and design of industrial products, art, economics and consumer services, law, etc. It is one of the oldest technological institutions of higher education in the country. 

Mission and Vision

The purpose of the University is to teach and educate young people, to implement high-quality educational services necessary for society, regardless of the place of residence / stay of consumers; to develop personal potential of participants of educational process, their creative abilities, active social position. The goal is to establish KNUTD as a first-class and influential at the international level university of applied research with a high quality educational and scientific reputation.

The objective of the University is to ensure quality educational activities of applicants for higher education; development of research and transfer of technologies and innovations to the real sector of the economy; integration into the world market of science and education.
