The University of Turku offers a two-year Master's Degree Programme in Environmental Sciences. The programme is multidisciplinary and has strong connections to basic and applied research, environmental assessment and economic life.
The programme covers different interdisciplinary specialisation fields that are managed by the Departments of Geography and Geology and the department of Biology at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. As a cooperation of these participating units, the programme offers specialisation studies in:
Quaternary Paleoecology and Environmental Change
Spatial and Ecological Interactions
The programme challenges the students to broaden their perspectives in environmental issues, while offering specialisation and profound scientific knowledge in a selected subfield of environmental sciences.
