21st meeting of the UNECE Steering Committee on Education for Sustainable Development

From 20–22 May 2026, the 21st Meeting of the UNECE Steering Committee on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) convened in Geneva to advance the implementation of the UNECE Strategy for ESD. Participants reviewed progress across the Strategy's four priority strands: quality education, whole-institution approaches, digital education, and entrepreneurship, and exchanged national experiences and good practices. The meeting also included capacity-building workshops, reinforcing regional cooperation and supporting the continued integration of sustainability across education systems.
