About
Madenat al-Elem University College (MAUC), established in 2004 and officially licensed as a university college in 2010, is a private higher education institution in Baghdad, Iraq, dedicated to academic excellence and community development. With around 3,200 students and over 120 staff members, MAUC offers four-year undergraduate programs across nine departments, including Civil and Computer Engineering, Biology, Medical Physics, Nursing, Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Accounting, Law, and related fields. The college emphasizes a student-centred learning environment, applied research across science, health, engineering, and social sciences, modern laboratories and facilities, and engagement with regional and international academic networks that enhance education quality and opportunities for collaboration.
Since its establishment, Madenat al-Elm University College pursued a fundamental goal of creating an excellent academic learning environment, that can contribute positively to the enhancement and development of the Iraqi community.
