Foundation University

Founded in 1949, Foundation University is a non-stock, non-profit, non-sectarian institution in Dumaguete City, Philippines, committed to educating productive, creative and responsible citizens through excellence, commitment, integrity and service. In 1963, even before having a university status, it became a member of the International Association of Universities (IAU). The University offers undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programmes across agriculture, arts and sciences, business, computer studies, criminology, education, hospitality, law, nursing, architecture and fine arts, and industrial engineering and technology. Its research strengths include sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, climate resilience, environmental sustainability and community-based development. The 9-hectare campus features modern learning spaces, laboratories, library resources and collaborative facilities, complemented by national and international academic and research partnerships.
