Founded in 1991, European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) is a dynamic and internationally oriented public university located on the German–Polish border. With around 6,000 students and a diverse academic community, Viadrina focuses on interdisciplinary learning across its three faculties – Law, Business Administration and Economics, and Social and Cultural Sciences. The university is known for its European and cross-border perspective, fostering intercultural understanding and collaboration. Viadrina’s research strengths lie in European integration, transnational governance, law, migration, and cultural studies. Its close cooperation with Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and other global partners supports rich academic exchange and innovation.
