Conferencia de Rectores de las Universidades Españolas (CRUE)

Crue Universidades Españolas (CRUE), founded in 1994, is a non-profit association of 76 Spanish universities: 50 public and 26 private. CRUE is the main interlocutor of universities with the central government and plays a key role in all normative developments affecting higher education in Spain.

Crue Universidades Españolas is the main interlocutor between universities and the Spanish government and plays a key role in all regulatory developments affecting higher education in the country. It also promotes initiatives of different kinds in order to foster relations with economy and society, institutional relations, both national and international, and works to enhance the value of Spanish universities.

CRUE is a member of COPERNICUS Alliance.
