About
The International University of Grand-Bassam (IUGB), formally established in 2007, is a private, nonprofit institution committed to offering an American-style, English-language education in Côte d’Ivoire. Its mission is to deliver globally recognized, technologically enhanced learning; its core values include excellence, accountability and opportunity. With approximately 870 students and some 82 academic staff, IUGB organizes its programs through its School of Business & Social Sciences and its School of STEM, along with a University Preparatory Program. Research strength lies in data science, economics and applied computing, while the campus boasts modern classrooms, labs and residential halls and the university enjoys strong global partnerships including affiliations with Georgia State University and other international institutions.

IUGB embraces sustainability as a core guiding principle, weaving it into research, curriculum, campus life, and outreach in harmony with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Faculty and students explore sustainable development, clean energy, responsible governance, and inclusive growth in research and learning.
