Daffodil International University (DIU), established in 2002, aims to deliver learner‑centric, technology‑driven education and impactful research grounded in values of ethics, quality, leadership, innovation, diversity, and continuous learning. The university serves around 22,000 students with well over 1,000 full‑time faculty supported by additional academic and administrative staff. DIU offers a wide spectrum of programs through faculties of Science & Information Technology; Engineering; Business & Entrepreneurship; Humanities & Social Sciences; Health & Life Sciences; and Graduate Studies. Its research strengths include areas such as environmental science and disaster management, public health, ICT and software engineering, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Key features include a large, modern campus with digital classrooms, extensive labs, one‑student‑one‑laptop scheme, library resources, on‑campus housing, and strong global partnerships with hundreds of universities and international bodies to foster collaboration and global exposure.

On campus, the “Green Campus” movement fosters eco‑responsible behavior, renewable energy use, waste and water management.
