CIRSES

CIRSES, the French Association for the Integration of Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development in Higher Education and Research, was founded in 2013 by higher-education sustainability leaders. Today, it brings together 186 member institutions across France and supports universities and research organisations in embedding sustainable development and social responsibility into their strategies and practices. CIRSES provides training, practical tools, self-assessment resources, networking opportunities, and guidance on the national DD&RS framework and label. Its work focuses on five areas: strategy and governance, education, research and innovation, environmental management, and social policy, helping institutions share good practices and strengthen their impact on society.
