ESD and Higher Education: Reflections on an Evolving Field

To contribute to the dialogues of the 2025 Partnership Forum of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), York University, and Columbia University, in partnership with UNESCO, are facilitating an official side event virtually. 

This side event is also a preview for a special issue of the Journal of Education for Sustainable Development. The event focuses particularly on the relationship between ESD and higher education, and how changes must be made to ESD in higher education systems to progress the contribution to the 2030 Agenda and global climate objectives.
