UM6P Side event at the 2026 STI Forum

On 6 May 2026, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) hosted a virtual side event at the 2026 STI Forum. The event was co-organised with several other institutons and organisations, including the Fondation Mohammed VI pour la Protection de l'Environnement (FM6E) and the Centre International Hassan II de Formation à l'Environnement (CIH2FE), in partnership with the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Morocco to the United Nations, UNDP, UNESCO, the Major Group for Children and Youth, AI Movement (UNESCO Category 2 Centre), the African Youth Climate Hub (AYCH), and the African Green Universities and Youth Education Network (AGUYEN). 

The event was an interactive roundtable on the theme ''Responsible Artificial Intelligence, Territorial Innovation and Environmental Education: Mobilizing Youth and Partnerships'', bringing together governments, international organizations, youth networks and technology actors to explore how responsible AI and digital innovation can accelerate the implementation of SDGs 6, 7, 9, 11 and 17.
