SDG Action Bingo to Promote Community Engagement

As a sustainability intiative across its campus Thompson Rivers University (TRU) hosted an Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Action Bingo for its students and staff during the month of March, 2026. 

The SDG Bingo invites participants to fill out a 36-square bingo card by performing actions related to specific SDGs. Actions can be either personal sustainability initiatives, such as using reusable water bottles or buying seasonal produce. Action can additionally be participating in one of the several SDG-related campus events. As an incentive, participants are encouraged to submit their Bingo cards and actions for a chance to win a grand prize valued at $1,000. 

This initiative underscores TRU's commutment to sustainability action and community engagement.
