Conference of Youth on Climate Change

The Conference of Youth on Climate Change was a sustainability-focused outreach event held at Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute in Turkmenabat, Turkmenistan in October 2023. The conference focused on climate change and water resources, with particular attention to the Amu Darya River and the wider challenges facing Central Asia. It brought together students, lecturers, SDG ambassadors, UN representatives, embassies, and national institutions to encourage youth participation in climate dialogue. By centering young people in discussions about water security and climate resilience, the event supported environmental education, civic engagement, and regional awareness of sustainability challenges.
