Comics as a Tool for Democracy and Social Inclusion

“Comics as a Tool for Democracy and Social Inclusion” was a hybrid ERUA workshop and masterclass hosted at the University of the Aegean on 27 May 2026. The event explored how comics and visual storytelling can support democratic expression, social inclusion, human rights education, and public engagement. It is also connected to the 5th ERUA Science Café, which focuses on political and social inclusion in comics through themes of difference, environment, and sustainability.
