EWORA Webinar on Gender Equality and Academic Careers in the Age of AI

On the occasion of International Women's Day and its global theme ''Rights. Justice. Action. For all Women and Girls,'' European Women and Rectors Association (EWORA) invites colleagues, leaders, and researchers from across Europe and beyond to a webinar on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and gender equality in academic careers. 

The webinar will discuss the influence of AI on recruitment, promotions, research evaluation and the risk of it reproducing structural inequalities and affecting fairness. Expected outcomes include increased understanding of the ethicala and practical implications of AI on gender equality related to academic careers, global knowledge exchange on gender equality and AI strategies.

Webinar participants are also provided an inclusive learning platform for current and future academic leaders, including candidates of the EWORA Academic Leadership and Mentoring Programme.
