On World Environment Day 2025, dedicated to tackling plastic pollution, Humanitas University highlighted its commitment to sustainability through awareness-raising and concrete campus actions. The university promotes a circular economy through initiatives such as a 3D Lab project that recovers plastic materials from university and hospital settings, alongside sustainable mobility measures, water-saving technologies, and environmentally conscious campus practices. 

Its Roberto Rocca Innovation Building exemplifies this approach, having achieved LEED v4 Gold certification and recognition for sustainable design, material reuse, and significant water savings through innovative irrigation systems.
