Sustainability Day 2025

On April 16, 2025, the University of Macau’s Department of Management and Marketing hosted its annual Sustainability Day, continuing a strong tradition of promoting sustainability awareness and dialogue. The event featured guest speaker Miss Stephanie Zhao, Associate Director of Sustainability at Sands China Limited, who shared insights on the company’s ECO360 Global Sustainability Program and its commitment to low-carbon practices. Following the keynote, five student teams from the Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility course presented case studies on companies with exemplary sustainability practices, highlighting key challenges and solutions. The judging panel recognized the team analyzing Apple’s supply chain as the winner for their insightful and critical evaluation.
