Science Diplomacy for Future Equitable Partnership

In a challenging global context marked by rising conflicts, science diplomacy plays a crucial role in bridging divides, fostering equitable partnerships, and amplifying the voices of those unheard. On 20 June 2025, as part of the World Forum for Women in Science in Jordan, the special session "Science Diplomacy for Future Equitable Partnership" was held to highlight how science can provide real, science-based solutions to global challenges.

Jointly organised by Yarmouk University (Jordan), the Women in Science Without Borders Initiative – Science for Humanity – Global Society, and Traces&Dreams, the event brought together high-level decision makers, scientists, and representatives from global scientific organisations including ERC, TWAS, IAP, OWSD, UNESCO, COP30, NRF (South Africa), Innovate UK Business Connect, and scientists from Gaza, USA, Canada, Japan, and Brazil.

The session offered a powerful platform for dialogue on advancing equitable partnerships and collaborative science diplomacy in an unsettled world.
