GEP climate action tracker

he Greening Education Partnership (GEP) Tracker, developed under UNESCO’s Greening Education Partnership, is a global monitoring and accountability tool designed to track progress in integrating sustainability and climate action into education systems worldwide. The tracker supports the GEP, a multi-stakeholder initiative led by UNESCO in collaboration with governments, UN agencies, civil society, youth, academia, and the private sector. Its purpose is to provide transparent, data-driven insights into progress across the four pillars of the Partnership: greening schools, curricula, teacher training, and community engagement.

The GEP Tracker enables policymakers and practitioners to identify gaps, strengthen coordination, and accelerate evidence-based action to “get every learner climate-ready.'' By improving accountability and informing policy decisions, the tool contributes directly to the Sustainable Development Goals.
