Annual ''One Ocean Week'' in Bergen

One Ocean Week is an annual event in Bergen dedicated to raising global awareness about the ocean’s role in sustainable development. It gathers participants from research, education, industry, government, and civil society for conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and public activities. As part of the UN Ocean Decade, the event promotes networking, knowledge-sharing, and dialogue on topics such as marine industries, climate, resource management, and the blue economy. Organized by One Ocean in collaboration with regional partners, including the University of Bergen, it is open to anyone interested in sustainable ocean management, with annual dates scheduled through 2030.
