The Modern University for Business and Science (MUBS) is a not-for-profit private university in Lebanon, nationally and internationally accredited. Established in the city of Damour in 2000, MUBS has since expanded its academic footprint across the country, now operating six campuses that serve a diverse student population.
The university is composed of four faculties: the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS), Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), and Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FAD). Since its founding, MUBS has graduated more than 7,000 students with bachelor's and master’s degrees, many of whom have gone on to take leadership roles in Lebanon and around the world.
MUBS is recognized for its academic integrity, commitment to high-quality education, and active engagement in research and innovation. The university also plays a key role in the community through a wide range of cultural, educational, and intellectual initiatives.
As part of its global engagement, MUBS has officially joined the United Nations Global Compact Network, aligning with the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative. By supporting the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption, MUBS affirms its dedication to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda.
MUBS is committed to taking an active role within the UN Global Compact Network Lebanon. The university is working closely with fellow members to launch joint initiatives and contribute to the implementation of responsible, forward-looking policies in Lebanon. Through its faculties and academic centers, MUBS aims to set a regional example as a socially responsible and engaged institution of higher learning.
