The Union of Universities of Latin America and the Caribbean (UDUALC), in collaboration with the National Association of Universities and Higher Education Institutions (ANUIES), invites you to take part in a series of virtual discussions, held in Spanish language, entitled:

‘What is the purpose of the university today?’

In a global environment characterised by rapid technological change, social transformations and new demands from the labour market, it is important to understand the perspective of students in the region, in order to create a space for in-depth analysis of the current role, value and purpose of higher education institutions.

The event will be moderated by Dr Roberto Escalante, Secretary General of UDUALC, and Mr Antonio Ávila, ANUIES.
