SDG Learning, Training and Practice at the 2025 UN High-level Political Forum
The SDG Learning, Training and Practice series, also known as SDGs in Practice, will take place from 14 to 23 July 2025 as a Special Event held alongside the United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF). Organized by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) New York Office and the Division for Sustainable Development Goals of UN DESA, this annual event offers a dynamic platform for building practical skills and knowledge to support implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
The sessions are designed to equip a broad range of practitioners with tools, innovative strategies, and peer-driven insights to advance progress on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In addition to expert-led presentations, the programme encourages networking, experience-sharing, and cross-sector collaboration.
All sessions in 2025 will be conducted fully online unless otherwise noted, making participation more accessible, particularly for those in developing countries. Sessions will be held in English and will strive for diverse representation in speakers and participants across regions, genders, and sectors.
