Case Conference on Responsible Innovations & Sustainability Practices (CRISP)
The Centre for Responsible Management Education (CRME) at the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) organized the Case Conference on Responsible Innovations & Sustainability Practices (CRISP) 2024 on December 13–14, 2024, bringing together academics, industry leaders, and students to exchange ideas on sustainable and responsible management. The two-day event featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, and case presentations on themes such as green innovation, ESG integration, ethical business, and social responsibility. Fifteen teams presented case studies covering diverse topics from sustainable aviation and corporate resilience to ethical marketing, renewable energy, and rural development.
The conference also highlighted the transformative journeys of global organizations as well as community-led sustainability models such as Hiware Bazar and Ladpura Khas. Keynote speakers emphasized the importance of integrating environmental, social, and governance frameworks into corporate strategy, ethical leadership, and sustainable design. The event concluded with reflections on the role of responsible management education in addressing global challenges, reinforcing IIMV’s commitment to nurturing innovative, sustainability-driven leaders.
