Project on Innovative Entrepreneurship

VERN’ University contributed significantly to a project for developing pop-up rural social-innovative hubs in Međimurje and on the island of Vis, promoting sustainability through entrepreneurship, innovation, and community development. As a partner, VERN helped define and test the hub methodology, trained stakeholders, and supported projects that foster resilient rural economies. Lecturers Gordana Ćorić and Jadranka Ivanković led workshops on entrepreneurship, design thinking, and marketing, while students engaged in field testing. The project concluded with the publication of the Manual for Rural Development Using Mobile Rural Hubs, co-edited by VERN faculty, providing practical tools for sustainable rural growth.
