On Wednesday 17 June, the Academic Network on Global Education & Learning (ANGEL) hosts the second webinar in its Research to Policy Webinar Series. 

This webinar, titled ''Local Global Citizenship Education Policy and Actions: Rebuilding Trust in Democracy Globally'' is an online webinar organised through by ANGEL in partnership with PLATFORMA and GENE. The session explores how local and regional governments, educators, and civil society can use Global Citizenship Education (GCE) to strengthen democratic engagement, foster critical thinking, amplify marginalised voices, and build inclusive communities. Participants will gain practical insights from local government initiatives and research-informed approaches to rebuilding trust in democracy through community-based action.
