19th International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology

The 19th International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology was successfully held on the island of Kos, Greece, from 3–6 September 2025. Co-organized by the Global Network of Environmental Science and Technology, the Open University of Cyprus (OUC), the University of the Aegean, and the University of Salerno, the event brought together leading scientists, researchers, and practitioners from around the world. The conference was chaired by Professor Demetris-Francis Lekkas (University of the Aegean), with co-chairs Professor Vincenzo Belgiorno (University of Salerno) and Associate Professor Antonis Zorpas (OUC), Director of the Master’s Programme in Sustainable Environmental Engineering and the Chemical Engineering and Engineering Sustainability Laboratory at OUC.

It reinforced the vital role of science and technology in shaping innovative solutions for sustainable and resilient societies.
