The international conference Sustainability in Higher Education: ''Between Transformation and Vibe Shifts” will take place from 21–23 September 2026 at Campus Dahlem at Freie Universität Berlin. Bringing together perspectives on sustainability, higher education, and societal change, the conference explores how shifting political, economic, and cultural dynamics are reshaping sustainability agendas in universities worldwide. Through the lens of a Whole Institution Approach, participants will critically reflect on transformation, resilience, science communication, climate action, biodiversity, and social responsibility — asking what comes next when “transformation” is no longer the dominant narrative.
