Go Green Campaign at USC

On September 7, the University of Sadat City (USC) launched the “Go Green Campaign” in collaboration with the Environmental Studies and Research Institute and the General Administration of Environmental Projects, aligning with the national initiative led by H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. Held under the patronage of the Acting President, Dr. Khaled Gaafar, and other senior leaders, the campaign emphasized the role of higher education in raising environmental awareness, conserving soil, water, and air resources, and combating climate change. Dr. Gaafar stressed that creating an eco-friendly university requires collective responsibility and the dissemination of environmental values across generations. To symbolize this commitment, around 350 fruit trees were planted across the new 500-acre campus and various university units, reflecting USC’s active role in integrating sustainability into education, operations, and community engagement.
