UNESCO IESALC is launching an open call for users and experts to participate in a series of focus groups on the contribution of higher education to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Why these focus groups?

The Sustainability Evaluation Tool for Higher Education Institutions (SET4HEI) has been launched as a ‘Beta’ version. SET4HEI is based on our own research, having gathered evidence of good practices from all world regions, plus the inputs of a group of experts, users and UN agencies. From September to November 2023 we want to hear from you. A selected group of user and experts will join us to shape the final version of SET4HEI, which will be launched in January 2024.

You will have the chance to give feedback regarding whether these good practices are internationally relevant (or to which extent, depending on which circumstances), and how to best formulate them for a global audience. You can also shape the operationalization these good practices in indicators that higher education leaders, researchers and policymakers can apply to their specific needs, and adapt to their respective contexts.

Learn more and fill in the form if interested here: https://set4hei.org/have-your-say/working-groups/ (Deadline 18 October)

If you cannot join the focus groups, remember that you can still make your contribution through our open feedback online form.
