Call for papers organized for African universities and associations

Call for papers in the field of green criminology in Africa.

Organized by David R. Goyes from the University of Oslo (Norway) and Ifesinachi Okafor-Yarwood from the University of St Andrews (UK), this call for papers aims at engaging in a dialogue with original thinkers from the African continent on the subject of green criminology.

Green criminology addresses forms of crime that harm the environment but are often ignored in criminological research. Green crimes cause both direct and indirect forms of harm, the former of which affect the ecosystem and the latter a consequence of direct harms.

If you are interested, send an abstract of between 120 and 200 words as soon as possible to d.r.goyes@jus.uio.no and imoy1@st-andrews.ac.uk (latest 1 July 2021).
