UNESCO World Conference on ESD rescheduled to 17 - 19 May 2021

The UNESCO World Conference on Education for Sustainable Development will be held from 17 to 19 May 2021 in Berlin, Germany

The Conference will raise awareness of these challenges, highlight the crucial role of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) as a key enabler for the successful achievement of all SDGs, and create momentum for strengthening ESD in policy and practice.

All UNESCO Member States will be invited to attend the event and nominate a delegation including participants from diverse backgrounds.

In addition, UNESCO launched a call for proposals for other stakeholders to be invited, including policy-makers working in education and sustainable development, education practitioners, civil society, development community and private sector experts to propose booth and session concepts.
