Preliminary results of IAU Global Survey on HESD
The preliminary results of the IAU Global Survey on HESD are now available.
IAU is currently conducting a Global Survey on HESD. So far many great responses were recieved and and some of the preliminary results can be found here: http://prezi.com/vexdogbfnepg/?utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=copy&rc=ex0share
Those results were well received at the two occasions where they have been presented so far: The UNESCO Global Action Programme (GAP) Partner Meeting and at a seminar on the role of higher education addressing the SDGs organised by ACUP and the Fundacion Autonoma Solidaria (held on 5 and 6 July and on 11 July respectively).
IAU is pleased to announce that it will now represent its Members by sitting on the steering committee of the UNESCO GAP partner network 2.
In the next coming months, IAU will further represent its Members at a number of international gatherings, including the Copernicus Alliance’s annual conference in Vienna in October and the 15th IAU General Conference, where IAU hopes to welcome you. The survey results will be presented at both these events.
Since the previous results of the survey where very inspiring, IAU decided to extend the deadline of the survey to inform the two conferences mentioned above and to make sure everyone has a chance to contribute to the global survey and therefore to inform the new strategic plan of IAU 2016-2020. IAU warmly invites you to fill in the survey or to circulate it within your institution: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/hesdsurvey
