University of Gothenburg and Chalmers designated as SDSN node for sustainable development in Northern Europe
Gothenburg's Centre for Environment and Sustainability, recently designated as a node for the SDSN initiative in Northern Europe
Context
Gothenburg's Centre for Environment and Sustainability, GMV, at the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers are a member of SDSN since 2013, and was recently designated as a node for the SDSN initiative in Northern Europe, SDSN Northern Europe. SDSN has a UN mandate to help produce and work with the UN's 17 recently adopted Sustainable Development Goals. Since 2012, SDSN has worked to mobilise scientific and technical expertise from academia, government agencies and the private sector and to launch solutions for sustainable development.
