Sustainable Development Goals

The Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Health (CESH) is developed jointly by the Makerere University in Uganda and the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden.

 

Aim: To develop capacity and mobilise actions to drive the agenda for sustainable health. The centre if permeated by the 2030 Agenda ad the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

Mission: To realise sustainable gains in health and well-being and transform how research and policies are formulated and conducted. 

Strategic Plan: The initiative for developing the centre is based on Makerere University's Strategic Plan 2020-2030 and Karolinska Institutet’s Strategy 2030.
