The Institute of Applied Higher Education in the field of water and power started its activities under the name of Sazandegi Headquarters in 1979, and now with a quarter century of activity, one of the most advanced and well-equipped science education centers in the world. Serves the country.

The mission of the institute, as the sole implementer of the formal activities of the Ministry of Energy's Applied Science Education, is the development and transfer of applied technology and technology, and the upgrading of the skills required by the water and energy industry at the national and regional levels through applied training and research.

The institute, with the facilities of five large educational and research complexes, seven educational units and two national centers of specialized training, each of which are located in one of the educational and industrial poles of the country, has the task of training and providing human resources specialist in the country's water and power industry.
