An agreement on cooperation for a united social economy, that had been in preparation for several weeks, was signed on Monday, March 31, 2014 by the Conference of University Presidents (CPU), the Conference of Directors of French Engineering Schools (CDEFI), the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MoR), the Ministry for social and Solidarity Economy (MESS), the Association of Social Economy School Partner of the Republic (ESPER) the business Council, employers and Groups of Social Economy (SOMA) and Coop FR, cooperative enterprises.
"L’Economie sociale et solidaire" (united sociale economy) is an organization of economic activity, based on connectivity. It is a full economic player that contributes to social cohesion policies and regional planning. Its formation helps to promote a model that is oriented towards social needs by promoting individual investments.
To promote the values of the social economy to students
To promote the attractiveness of jobs supported by this model in the various crafts and activities in this field
To support and develop all initiatives put in place by the higher education institutions to better know this economic model
Develop classes and certificates in connection with the social economy
