Sustainability Strategies for New Businesses
On October 8, 2024, Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and Tehnopol Science and Business Park officially launched the Zebra ScaleUp program at the Tehnopol Campus in Tallinn. The ecosystem event gathered entrepreneurs, investors, and experts to discuss how startups can successfully scale while embedding sustainability at the core of their strategies. Successful Estonian scale-ups shared their journeys, highlighting the importance of dedication, support ecosystems, and incubator programs in transforming ideas into impactful businesses. Participating investors underlined the value of clear product roadmaps, global ambitions, and credible sustainability strategies when seeking investment.
The Zebra ScaleUp initiative is now recruiting 20 companies for its upcoming bootcamp, which will provide hands-on guidance in product and business development, investment readiness, team building, and international market expansion. A strong emphasis will be placed on ecological, social, and financial sustainability, with dedicated sessions to help participating companies design meaningful sustainability strategies and credible ESG approaches. By combining professional mentoring with peer support, Zebra ScaleUp aims to strengthen Europe’s sustainable startup ecosystem and prepare emerging businesses for long-term, responsible growth.
